In our premier episode we sit with Tony Roman, Tony is a restaurant entrepreneur and owner of Basilico’s Pasta e Vino Restaurant in Huntington Beach, California. He is known for his anti-mask stance and has forbidden mask-wearing inside his establishment. Roman believes that forcing masks on Americans is a symbol of control and surrender, and he refuses to allow his employees to wear masks. He also requires customers to remove their masks before entering his restaurant. Roman’s defiance of Governor Newsom’s orders could result in severe consequences, including losing his liquor license and facing criminal charges. Despite this, Roman remains committed to his stance and has publicly stated that he is willing to challenge the orders.
