From the series Uncuffed: Only after coming to prison did Javier Wesson and Tyrone Binkley see their childhood experiences for what they were: sexual abuse at the hands of family members. Whenever sexual abuse and trauma happens to young boys — either at the hands of trusted family members or of strangers – there seems to be an automatic minimization and sometimes even praise of the despicable events.
