Seeing Afflictions as Assets – Talk Less, Pray More – Josiah Kagin

from Grace Baptist Church Audio Podcast · host Grace Baptist of Kettering

When trials and afflictions come into our lives, we often pray that God will remove them. Why? Because we feel that they limit us from reaching our potential. The great Apostle Paul faced this. He agonized in prayer that God would remove the affliction out of his life so that he could serve God. Through prayer, God revealed to Paul that it was the affliction that enabled God’s power to be fully manifested through his life. Through prayer, Paul went from begging God to remove the affliction to praising God for the affliction.
