Seeing Christ and Serving Others: The Example of St. Herman of Alaska

Send us Fan MailIn this homily, we reflect on the Feast of the Transfiguration and the Christian calling to behold Christ and be transformed by His uncreated light.The life of St. Herman of Alaska gives us a practical example of what this transformation looks like. While St. Herman is remembered for miracles and his deep life of prayer, he is also remembered for something much more ordinary: serving those around him.
