Seeing My In-Laws Again for the First time in Years

Well, it finally happened last night.I spent time with my in-laws for the first time in about five years. We decided we’d give it a go after several years of bad blood between us. We had our reasons, certainly.I’m not big on forgiveness when it comes to people hurting my family.But I’m trying. Recently reaching my 50s, I’m trying to work on some of my character flaws. Though I don’t regret defending my family and distancing myself from toxicity, I’m willing to give another chance.
