Seeing Sin to See God’s Grace / Matthew 13:1-9

Last week, we looked at how God hides saving truth from those who are proud and claim to know it all. Yet He sent his Son to save these same men who rely on their own efforts to find security and salvation. In the same vein, this week we will look at a parable in which Jesus calls out man’s fruitless responses to God’s Word that do not reflect the impact of the gospel on sinful hearts.
