An eating disorder is not your friend...in fact, it's quite the opposite. It sucks the life out of you like a parasite, and uses you to its ADVANTAGE. It uses your body as a host to multiply, and then engrains itself until you almost feel like it has become your identity. Yep, this is HORRIBLE, but this metaphor was also the key to my recovery.
