"Seeing The Light" - Acts 9:1-18
from His24-7.com · host Rev. Joel D. McMahon III
“Seeing the Light” Acts 9:1-18 Five lessons we can learn from the conversion of Saul in Acts 9:1-18: 1. Just because someone appears far from the Lord doesn’t mean that they are a lost cause. As Saul began his journey, he was one of the greatest enemies of the Christians of the day, yet it ended with him becoming one of their number. 2. The Lord usually gives us information on step at a time. Saul was told to go to the city, and he’d receive more information there. 3. Sometimes the step the Lord gives us to take is scary. Ananias only knew Saul as a great enemy when the Lord told him to go meet him. 4. Generally, if the Lord’s voice becomes dim, and we have heard Him clearly in the past, we need to go back to the last thing he told us to do that we did not do and do it. 5. Saul’s spiritual blindness was greatly attributable to being involved in religion, and not a relationship with the Lord.
