Seeking Client's Truth

Do you have a client with pain that will not go away, but no one has been able to determine the cause?  It may have to do with the medical provider during the pregnancy or birth!In today’s podcast, Lynn talks with her co-worker, Maryjean Starr, a Doctor in Physical Therapy, about specific cases where clients were in pain that would not go away. The common thread and source just happened to be rooted in statements from their providers that impacted their bodies, and the clients were unaware. In this podcast, we discuss two different cases. The first case is about a woman who was induced early when her baby was measuring too small, though the mom felt the baby was fine. The second case is of a client with a heart condition carrying twins. In both cases, the doctor’s opinions stifled the mother’s intuition, which led to pain in the body with “unknown” origins.
