SEEKING FIRST THE KINGDOM!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) Message: In a world filled with distractions and endless pursuits, Jesus gives us a clear priority—seek first the Kingdom of God. This means making God’s will, His righteousness, and His purposes the foundation of our lives. Many people chase after wealth, success, or security, worrying about their needs and future. But Jesus reminds us that when we put God first, everything else falls into place. This doesn’t mean we won’t face challenges, but it assures us that God will provide for us as we trust Him completely. Seeking God’s kingdom is about more than just attending church or reading the Bible—it’s about aligning our hearts, decisions, and daily lives with His will. When we prioritize Him, He leads us, sustains us, and blesses us in ways beyond our understanding. Today, ask yourself: Is God truly first in my life, or am I placing other things ahead of Him? What areas of my life do I need to surrender to His will? How can I seek His kingdom more intentionally in my daily walk? Prayer: Almighty Father, I choose to seek Your kingdom above all else. Help me to trust in Your provision and not be consumed by the worries of life. Align my heart with Your will, and teach me to walk in righteousness. May my life reflect Your purpose and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
