SEEKING GOD DAILY!

Scripture: "O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water." — Psalm 63:1 (NIV) Devotional Message: David’s words in Psalm 63 reveal a heart deeply in pursuit of God—not out of obligation, but out of an intense longing to be close to Him. Seeking God daily is not just a spiritual discipline; it is a heartfelt desire to know Him more, to be in His presence, and to draw strength from His love. In a world filled with distractions and demands, it’s easy to push time with God to the margins of our day. But like David, we are invited to seek Him earnestly, first and foremost—before the rush of life begins. Daily pursuit keeps our hearts aligned with His will and nourishes our soul with peace, wisdom, and purpose. Seeking God daily isn’t about perfection but consistency. It’s choosing to meet with Him through prayer, His Word, and moments of quiet reflection. As we do, we’ll find that our thirst is quenched, our fears calmed, and our path made clear. Today, ask yourself: Am I earnestly seeking God, or simply fitting Him into my schedule? What can I do today to draw closer to Him? Prayer: Almighty Father, You are my God, and I long for You.
