SEEKING GOD’S WILL

Devotional Message: Scripture: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.” – Romans 12:2 (NIV) Seeking God's will is not about searching for a distant secret—it's about daily surrender and transformation. In Romans 12:2, Paul urges us not to conform to the world’s values but to allow our minds to be renewed by God’s truth. When we do this, our hearts become tuned to hear His voice and our eyes begin to see His purpose more clearly. God’s will isn’t something to be feared—it’s described as good, pleasing, and perfect. That means trusting His will leads to life, peace, and fulfillment, even when it challenges us or leads us beyond our comfort zones. When we align our thinking with God’s Word, we begin to desire what He desires, and we make decisions with confidence and clarity. This kind of transformation doesn’t happen overnight—it’s a process of letting God reshape our priorities, values, and plans. It starts with a simple “yes” to His leading and a willingness to let go of what doesn’t align with His truth. Today, ask yourself: Am I allowing God to renew my mind, or am I still conforming to the world’s patterns? What step can I take to better seek and follow His will? Prayer: Almighty Father, help me not to conform to this world but to be transformed by Your truth. Renew my mind with Your Word, and guide my heart to desire Your will above my own.
