Seeking Our Style

Episode 2 of Podcasting Without Fear explores what happens when students begin discovering not just their voices, but their styles. This episode moves from sports conversations and internet fandoms to conspiracy theories, true crime storytelling, and poetry, revealing how differently students choose to communicate when given a microphone and creative freedom. In this episode: Tiernan and Talker accidentally create a sports podcast fueled by Formula One, Seahawks discussions, and alarming amounts of creatine. Kaylyn and Maddie dive into Stranger Things fandom culture, internet theories, and something called Divorce Gate. Students investigate conspiracy theories while asking bigger questions about media literacy, skepticism, and how we decide what’s true. Kate and Sophie approach a real unresolved case with care, restraint, and thoughtful storytelling. Maddie and Bella close the episode with poetry and a conversation about creativity, perfectionism, and finding meaning through writing. Hosted by Mr. Anthis, Episode 2 is about discovering that podcasting is not one thing. Sometimes it’s analysis. Sometimes it’s conversation. Sometimes it’s storytelling. And sometimes it sounds a lot like art.
