SEEKING Peace in God's Plan

Maybe it's all of the commercials. You know the ones, with soft music and slowly falling snow. The ones with the image of a crackling fire and a mantle hung with stockings. The ones with Christmas music heard from another room as a family bakes treats. Is it just me, or do these days between Thanksgiving and Christmas not line up with the reality the TV is showing me?I feel that we’re surrounded by messages telling us to “find peace,” especially this time of year. As we continue our Advent series "Seeking Jesus," we will look at what peace is even when things are chaotic.How? By looking at Mary and Joseph and what they found to be the answer! Spoiler alert: the Bible reminds us that peace isn’t something we manufacture, rather it’s Someone we meet. I won't ruin anything else for you, because if I write it here, it'll give the whole thing away and I'll have nothing to say this weekend.On Sunday as we gather, we’ll explore how God offers something deeper and more steady than anything our circumstances can muster.
