Seeking to Feel God and Losing Everything

Send a textThe whole West has fallen into basing reality on their subjective feelings. Christians have been doing this for a long time. Basing our beliefs on our feelings doesn't only create the idea that there are a billion and one genders, but it also destroys our faith. What's worse, it can even make us feel like we're close to God and doing exactly the right thing.  But when Christians seek feeling God over knowing the truth of His Word, we can even validate other religions. Knowing God has nothing to do with our feelings. Feelings are secondary to the knowledge of God. Feelings aren't bad things. They make our relationship with God enjoyable. But if you know God, you can have access to those feelings. But if you seek to feel God alone, you can't possibly know Him, so you lose both the salvation and the feelings. Seek the first and you get both.
