Seems Fabric of many blends Somewhat frayed at the ends You may think sew What do you know The pretty patchwork is popping its’ seams No one looked after it when they departed Left to our own devices, divisions started You may think, so? What do you know The fractured family’s falling apart so it seems But I think we can all take hold Stand first if you want to be bold You make it so, sew, make it so What do you know Grab hold with both hands, pull me back by the seams Tell me this was just another one of those hellish dreams We make it so, we sew, make it so The fabric of us all, those many blends Look beautiful to me with those frayed ends Yeah, I think so… Tim Windisch 04/09/2021
