In this message, we are reminded that we are not only human doings, but God made us human beings. Faith in Jesus is about both doing and being. God sees us and has a good purpose for our lives. We work in partnership with God in the formation of becoming, in order to be empowered by God in the act of doing. One of the hardest things to do is to wait on God to fulfil His promise, but we must remember that God can transform us in the middle of our mess. When we spend time with Jesus, our capacity to be kind, generous and compassionate increases. Victory sometimes requires us to work through the pain, and we need to be less afraid of going through it. Faith works in us, between us and through us to be better people to others. Let’s spend time with Jesus this week!
