Have any questions, insights, or feedback? Send me a text! This evening (2/2/22), in our aptly named "Chumash Exploration," we began learning the Sefer ha'Chinuch's introduction to Mikdash, in which he spells out his theory of the purpose of the Mikdash as a whole and offeres explanations of the reasons for many of the particular elements which comprise it. In our first installment we learned through his preface and the first part of his intro. Next week we'll delve into his explanation of the shechinah and start his explanation of korbanos (בג"ה).----------מקורות:ספר החינוך - פרשת תרומה, מצוה צ"הספורנו - ויקרא יט:בRabbi Israel Chait, D-5: Nidda & Kashrus-Kedoshim Tihyuרמב"ם - משנה תורה, ספר טהרה, הלכות מקוות יא:יבשמות יט:כבתלמוד בבלי - עבודה זרה דף יט עמוד א עם פירוש רש"יירמיהו ט:כב-כג----------This week's Torah content has been sponsored anonymously, in gratitude for the remote learning opportunities made available by the YBT rabbeim.----------If you have questions, comments, or feedback, I would love to hear from you!
