Seiya Suzuki Fuels Cubs Postseason Push in Contract Year

As the Chicago Cubs chase a crucial postseason berth, five-year veteran Seiya Suzuki delivers a standout offensive performance in his contract year. His winning pedigree also extends to the international stage.  Suzuki was a key member of Japan’s 2020 Olympic team, alongside MLB stars Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Munetaka Murakami, helping his home country capture the gold medal on home soil following a dramatic 2-0 victory over the United States in the gold medal game.  As the Cubs chase a postseason berth down the stretch, Suzuki’s clutch bat and extensive championship experience remain central to their October ambitions.
