Self-Care: Boundaries
from Being Aloud · host Bee Bishay
Send us Fan MailFor all my life I believed that boundaries were a negative thing– people with boundaries were unapproachable and intimidating to be around. I believed that the good people were those whose lives were open books. Who let others into their most intimate lives, and constantly put people’s needs before their own: emotional, energetic, mental, and physical. I believed that to place a boundary was to push people out and away. And that the only way to sustain safe relationships was to see the other person only, and become so selfless that the other person feels 100% comfortable to say and do what they pleased. But who said that to place boundaries is to be selfish? And where did i even get my definition? On this episode we discuss the relationship between self-love and boundaries.Find me on: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/beebishay/Blog: https://www.beebishay.com/Mailing List: https://www.beebishay.com/the-monthly-beemailSupport the showIf you like this podcast, please leave a review, like, share, and subscribe.
