In this episode Carole Jean Whittington and Philip will talk about one important element to the Autistic’s nervous system called Practicing the Pause. The power of the pause improvesself-awareness. When we pause before reacting to stimuli we also take time to reclaim our autonomy and protect the power of our choices. Later in this episode Carole Jean and I will talk about how practicing the pause is important for late identified Autistics and ADHDers as they meet the challenges ofsocietal negativity on many of our intersectional identities.
