You make papers without we are here. Just waiting for James to come here How you doing? I'm good. Hey, you know they got in a way to put it on speaker phone On The phone You don't you have any type of your buzzer some work to work You're not working your phone's not working the Bluetooth didn't work Like a floating straight in that a word Yeah But uh, it might be better for you You know my fat face with the phone You know jazz To come through snakes will be joining us tonight.
She got some other stuff going on So she next she next you now now now. Let me down, you know the show goes on you know, so good No saying is the show goes on Well, you know what I'm doing microwave dinners in the background. Oh, sir. Okay leftovers What's a nice show is about Self inventory my brother that self inventory Yes, sir.
I Seems like Start the show so But before we start this Point I want thing From a governor hopeful in Florida was allegedly caught in a room with four men naked with milk on the bed The Democratic Party as a whole has already failed us as black people But they are constantly giving us these the generates low lives as our candidates And they think just because we should have same uniform and I mean black that we should accept them And also it's a some degree black people think that we should accept them and everything that they say as well And we shouldn't we really shouldn't some people are beyond redemption I've been told people about this guy this guy was running for media in Florida If he would have had a black agenda, he would have won but he did not have won And I'm for one. I'm getting tired of seeing black candidates Without a black agenda They do everything for every other race except for their own people and that's a stop But let's go to um self inventory magpam. What do you think about self inventory? I think everyone should take a real deep self inventory of themselves And what self-tory means It's telling yourself the truth about yourself You know, if you have certain or statistic tendencies, you need to own up to it if you manipulate it you need to own up to it That's because a lot of times we tend to Um Mask what we the things that uh, we do instead of calling it what it is I wasn't hating on him.
I was just saying I wasn't just I just was saying You know instead of saying exactly what it is. That go jazz That's not a sneak in here We take a plane around here jazz It's okay. It's okay jazz. It's still a part of the conversation.
It's okay We're talking about self inventory tonight Make papers was telling us that uh He was saying that you got a self inventory to him means that you gotta tell yourself the truth about yourself Like if you got for example, you got no statistics characteristics, then you need to come to grips with that, right? Yeah, because the only way you can fix the problem is um The first step to fixing the problem is the admitting you have one And um, I've been told that for years, but uh, it just resonated with me Why don't tell ourselves the truth? And what do you think it is? Nobody won't face their own truth They could point at other people and see all kind of stuff, but when it come down to them And then I will end up doing that.
It's like it's hard to look in that mirror Guys, what's your take on that? Self inventory um to reflect, you know, and reflection comes in different in different forms. You can talk to yourself. You can meditate you can pray um or you can Put yourself amongst people who you know are gonna keep things honest with you So that it can resonate or it's brought to your attention if you don't know because sometimes like mac paper said it's difficult To hear the truth is, you know All we know are our truths whatever our truths are in that moment and so Unless you know something is wrong.
You have no reason to really reach out to anybody and take Take things in if that makes sense Right So so if you don't realize there's something wrong then how can you uh, how do you go about um fixing it like or how do you go about um Realizing that you have a problem. Sometimes, you know, you gotta let it really come to you from a different source You know if something's wrong and you don't know Trust and believe someone's gonna bring it to your attention where there's directly or indirectly, you know, and I think it's our job to Take take responsibility on who we are and the things that we do and I take ourselves too seriously And think that we're above correction. Hmm So That's that's self inventory for me Okay, so so as far as like negative characteristics or what people perceive to be negative characteristics like uh, let's just say um narcissism or Things of their nature. They can make somebody like a Steve Jobs, maybe like good at what they do and they're giving their drive So how can they modify that to be better people if this is what makes them successful in their professional lives?
I think that um This word i've been using a lot lately is to be able compartmentalized You know, there are things that you have to be able to put to the side to get your job done But are we talking about work or are we talking about being humanist? You know, um, I think that To get certain things done. There is a level of arrogance or narcissism that we may need but that's not to say that you have to stay on that path You know, I think it's important to surround yourself with people that are gonna ground you and keep And stay true in your circle to help you. I mean, it's it's natural to be really good at something and thank you to shiznai You know, that's natural that's a part of human nature Um, but again, you need somebody to help ground you and we can't ground ourselves all the time We can't self reflect and and take self inventory all the time Okay My papers i'm gonna agree with up on that but um also a side note is that the uh We can't do always do self inventory on ourselves but people always um They're gonna have people around you that's going to be dropping hints You know, even if it's not that right So that's where I feel that self inventory comes in it like if uh your breath Stank all the time and somebody keep on handing you gum Like when you're gonna realize that your breath tank didn't do something about it Okay All right That's that's why metaphor you was that was off the dome Okay um Okay, so when we talk about other people, but when do you um, when is it uh time to do self inventory Because you know when some people some people may not see it some people may see that it's hatein as you know, driving the hints and things like that they You know What how do you get to the people to do self inventory?
Or how do you get to the yourself sometimes? Well to me You're gonna realize when it's time it's like You know, it's Like michael jacks said brought a man in the mirror like That's hard to face and I bought that up because like that's on Ben came out with that jews been dropped It's hard to face that man in the mirror. It's been there You ain't never thought about it. You never thought about it as you being that man in the mirror that's hate the face who you are Okay um Like it there's no manual to it, you know, it's almost like um Like for me what I do is and it may be a different a different way There's some people go about it, but I know I know enough about myself to understand my arrogance and To understand those not so pleasant parts of myself As far as that's concerned so I always go to got an ask for conviction So like if i'm rude to someone then it's like instantly I'm convicted Because I know I can't recognize all the ill that I do on my own so I need intervention So it's like I was rude to somebody on my job Two people actually and I was so agitated and I wasn't sorry about it Because that was the moment I was in but to be a better person and to Remember that you treat people the way you want to be treated.
I was convicted and so I knew what I needed to do after they left my presence And so when I When I saw them again, I apologize to them on different occasions because I saw them differently, you know and it wasn't about me feeling better But it was more so about Not making another person feel You know and even though each each of those people told me oh, it was not necessary It was definitely necessary because no matter how I was feeling there it wasn't an excuse to be rude and take my frustration out You know and so again for me conviction and reflection and like if something's tagging in my spirit And I mean I know what it is. It's imperative for me to backtrack and figure out what it is taught me upon me And so that's that helps me to take self inventory on how I am out in the world with people and how I like How I transact with different people It's not about the people at all You know, it's all about self and correcting yourself So there's no hands on it, but I found something that works for me that helps me. So if it's not Yeah, because like I was at work that I did right and I was thinking about some stuff You know And I you know I told somebody what I was thinking about and they how I'm not today walked up and they never came back It was very hurtful Yeah Not today and I talked Hold up the guilty for the speaker Hey, did you say all right, hold Let me ask you stuff All right, but let me ask you Did that happen like I said No, not exactly I said jazz Man, I was talking to somebody other day. I had a conversation with somebody other day back not today and walked off All right, what did you say?
I said not today. All right. Take do some self inventory. That's what you're saying I was like, but it wasn't it wasn't in a cutoff kind of weight Did you say not today and rode off into the sunset?
That's all I was Was a yellow machine. I look like a sunset to me Let me tell you something baby If you don't try it if you don't know and I enjoy our conversations, but we got two different positions going on And I can't stand on our and talk for 30 minutes all the time really no time Hey, I respect it. Hey Mac papers can do that. I respect it.
I can't but I still do but I respect it Allegedly, I respect respect it. You know when you heard my feelings By saying not today and rode off into the sunset. I said all right. I'm gonna just let it ride off into the sunset.
That's what happened I saw it Hey, but on on another note Um, I'm just clowning because I know what it is but at the same time At the same time that that also brings up another point, you know about Pain is real, you know, because you feel it but like feelings Are feelings can go either way it can be a real feeling or fake feeling but if the feeling is real or fake it still causes pain So me knowing jazz what she said could have heard somebody else But I know it wasn't like that it was I'm doing something. I don't want to break that It was not I don't want to talk it was I cannot talk all right the same difference I understand but I understood it so my feelings I wasn't gonna feel a certain way but somebody else I'm just telling you the context of what you said not today Somebody else gonna take it a whole another way and So And you know, I've also witnessed myself as far as like feelings go. Are we too much invested in our feeling? We can't be absolutely Why do you think that is because just like Mac paper said, you know feelings are real because we feel it Right, but sometimes it can go both ways You can pump yourself up with so much fallacy that you create to feel something that's not existing Just like just like something that isn't based on false facts or false Emotions can still make you feel I'm not explaining this the way I would Got you.
I got you back. I got you back. I've been thinking on the whole lot. So I got your back It's just like you loan somebody you loan somebody money over and over again And the first time you say no they go to holland out man and they're selfish Hell won't be in that right.
You don't do that for nobody That's fake that ain't no real feeling but The but the emotion of the person always giving to you And then stop it causes all the other stuff. So you forget everything that they didn't do for you with pride Yeah, so you don't consider all the giving but it hurts you stops Yeah Feelings me because you're not considering all of the time Just games. Yeah All right, then but then we get to exploitation Is the part is that person that's always receiving and expecting somebody to give money exploring the relationship that they have with that person? Definitely abusing it.
Definitely abusing it. Mm-hmm. Definitely But then they own some stuff Depending on what is there now you're on the trip to get you to give a move and then there goes the processes and your Your lack of self-inventory because you think you above the word no. Are you think you above?
Deserving okay of something Right your above non-deserving of something So I Don't Program yourself to cut things off and cut people off Just because a patch gets a little rougher confusing Then are you creating an environment with only like-minded people that will not help you grow so like me whoa For me. I had to consider that or am i too sensitive so well the first time somebody Bring a wall up against me or challenge me I have to cut them off and they're considered an enemy. And that's not always the case because we all need a stretch and growth. And that's not always easy.
That's growing pains. No doubt. Now, when I say cut people, I'm not talking about somebody challenging you. I think somebody challenging you and somebody being disrespectful to you on a consistent basis, I think that's not the difference.
Now, somebody challenging you to become a better person, that's totally different. I mean, I've got people around me that challenge me all the time. And we're the best of friends. And they're going to make sure that I grow.
And they're going to make sure that I have everything that I need, you know, saying in this growing process. But I'm talking about, you know, just people that are entering your lives, that's not really contributing to anything that's not contributing to your growth. You can see where it's going to go. It's not where you just cut them out instantly as soon as they say something that hurts your feelings.
Because at this point in my life, I'm not investing into my feelings like that. I'm more invested into my growth. And me constantly maturing me constantly learning. But when you get people that's around you, that's constantly disrespecting you as you say, hey, you know what I appreciate if you didn't do that because I don't like that too much.
And they constantly doing the same thing. Then that gets into disrespecting. That gets into a little bit of a dumb one to express certain things from you. Or even just whether it's your time, whether it's your peace or anything.
They're exploring something from you. And then you got to cut them off for your own safety and your own will, for your own peace, I mean. Like, hey, cutting somebody off in block them is like two to two different arenas. Because do you believe in people could change?
And also you teach people how to treat you. Right? So therefore, it's like, if they violate or disrespectful, you tell them, you spank their hand at one time. This is these are metaphors.
You spank their hand. Look, I don't like that. Don't do that. They do it again.
You stop asking the phone. You know, these are saying, you know, they leave messages with an alt text or whatever. You text back like, look, you know, until you learn how to talk to them, I can't ask them for you on punishment for phone time. Then that's going to, that might elevate change.
But if you just block, like, you basically just block everything. You did teach them how to treat you. You just got them off. And cutting off is the easiest thing.
I love cutting people off. Sometimes it's the hardest thing. No, it's the easiest thing. It's easy.
It's easy. Well, it might, but something that came to me, that something came to me, that something came to me, that something came to me the other day though, and somebody presented something to me the other day. That I'm a Virgo. And Virgo's, I like that.
And I always been like that. My happy face and my smile, they face the same thing. You know, so, and I show no emotion. So if you don't know me, you don't know that side of me, you think so?
Like, but I went to doing some self-invertouring. Like, what is that doing to other people? You know, they give me a gift. And I'll be just like, all right, thank you.
You see what I'm saying? Stuff like that. OK. So, self-invertouring, OK.
So self-pretevation is the low of the lane, right? I agree. So if somebody is trying to hurt, just a type of way shouldn't it be easy to cut somebody up? Or shouldn't it be shouldn't it be one of the things that you do?
Somebody's been a different perspective towards you on a consistent basis? I'm talking about it to go on through all the stuff that you say, listen, until you talk to me, then after a few weeks, they cool, but with human beings, we creatures are heavy, right? Right. Some of us are, and they keep on doing the same thing after those two weeks, and then you go to the same process again.
Why are you wasting time and energy on something that is not going to change? Or just to put it in matter? Yeah, it weighs no time or energy by not answering the phone. OK.
So that goes back to the same thing as back as somebody goes? Not really, because they could. They still couldn't, you know, one of them days you might be feeling good and answer the phone. You never know.
It's just like, you know, like a jazz says all the time. It's not really black and white. But like, that block and stuff, it just blocking seems like a real emotional trait versus putting some thought into it. Like, I say, blocking people is really emotional trait versus putting some thought into it.
So you said, cut person off, take some thought. Oh, cutting the person off. And how you go about cutting the marks and seeing it on your lessons, whereas blocking is just you create the black or white. It's either black or white.
So if I take the wrong time, there is no room for something. So it's just a pen to treat either side. Yeah, exactly. Get out my head, jazz.
I was saying myself. I was saying. Yeah. So how do you think this will affect your relationship moving forward in future?
I don't know. As far as it's going to be both. I mean, in both arenas, give me a compare and contrast in both arenas. And that old Negro Port soldier slum, I just featured with a long round of spoons.
That's a cut off. And no, that's a long handle spoon. It's not a block. It's not a block, but it's a long handle spoon.
You can get to me, but you're going to have to use a sniper rifle. You ain't going to be able to stab me up with your knife. You ain't going to be that close. But I'm going to feed you with a long handle spoon.
You can't get close to me. So it's lovely. So I got a question at the jazz. Get out my head, jazz.
That was noise. The jazz give me a response. I got a question. Hello?
Oh, the difference is, I'm just a little bit more. I mean, I agree with what that people say. You know, it's like blocking isn't it's to it's blocking. You cut off.
You stop complete penetration. So let's talk about social media. You block a person. They can't see nothing you do.
You can't see nothing. They that vice versa. If somebody shares your posting, some mutual friend, you still can't see it. There is no interference.
There is no penetration whatsoever. So I want to talk to you guys about ego. Ego, why are you feeding somebody with a long handle spoon? To me feeding somebody with a long handle spoon would be.
Yeah. I mean, I tell the point where you got it with a long handle spoon, that means you got to keep a distance from the right. OK. It doesn't really make a actual way.
So that means you got to keep a distance from that person. I mean, I get the metaphor. What I'm saying is why are you keeping a person like that around you? Is it ego?
No, sir. It's OK. It's OK. What is that about?
It gives somebody a chance of redemption. And I mean, I'm not the same person that I was four years ago, five years ago, six years ago. And I mean, if you see if that person's life was saying about social media, you could start to see a group than somebody. And maybe it's time for their season to come back around.
You never know. But I talk to so many people. And they be how about I don't mess with such and such and like, so they looking for a plug for whatever. And then I tell them, man, what you call them do that?
And that be the man's. But they fall out for a second or whatever. They block them or whatever. And I do don't want to help me.
But that's the same dude that's helping everybody else. So what's going on between y'all two? Is it you or is it him or her? You understand why I'm coming from?
Yes. I can break it down a little bit more. OK. I wasn't expecting that.
You know. So you guys will look at the game. Good thing you are. So basically, people who come at me, ask the questions or whatever, ask me about different things.
And I'll be like, well, such a such talk to me. Ain't that your people's? Nah, I'm powerful with them like that. Why not?
And it'd be, you know, cut people off for crazy stuff. And your plug was right there next to you. You know, they long have a school and represents a couple of different things. You know, maybe I can't fool with you in that arena.
When they come down to business, you ain't one. But when you block them, that's it. Over it, over and then with it. All right, I hope you got that lined up.
Yeah, I got it. I got it. OK. Then what you got?
Well, if we're talking about ego, you know, it goes back to what I was saying earlier about blocking or cutting people off that are challenging you. You know, so like if my ego is bruised and it has nothing to do too much with disrespect more than it has to do with my ego, depending on the circumstance. So if my ego is bruised and that's a complete emotional decision to block somebody, kind of like what Mac people were saying, it's an emotional thing because my ego is bruised. So this wasn't something that had levels to it.
This was a decision I came up with without considering all other ways to deal with this person. If I cared enough, if this was something that I considered. Because if we're not cool, then I should never allow you to be able to bruise my ego. So if somebody can bruise your ego, then I mean they know something about you.
That means that there is some friendship or some acquaintance there somewhere, you know. So again, if it's about your ego, then that's that's emotional. It's not real. Even though you feel it.
Oh, and that's all I have. You know, talking about, talking about ego. So, you know, our ego is bruised when people really are there to stretch us now. Somebody can attack us and the whole while you don't feel like love because we're looking for people to grow us that quote unquote as a friend, but it could be a stranger challenging you, but it don't feel like love from that stranger.
But nonetheless, they are in position to grow you. Whether they know it or not, it's for you to receive it. What's the difference between somebody challenging you and somebody? Disrespecting you.
It depends on the lesson that you need in that moment. Like if you really want to peel back, you know, if you really want to peel back, it can be whatever lesson it is you need to learn to determine that. So again, it's not black or white all the time. Mostly is nothing is black and white using.
Now we create black and white. So, so black somebody you created that you created that block. You created that black or white situation. Whereas dealing with somebody wrong on the spoon, you considered it, you thought about it and then you came to a decision.
Okay. My papers seem like you want to wear something to my mind and scatter. Then I come back. Okay.
I had to come back. I want to listen to. I don't want to listen to so hard. It just.
Just a jicob-a-lau-lau-lau-lau-lau-lau-lau-lau-lau-lau. Yeah. It's getting. Okay.
So, somebody tell me. I got it. It came back. Tell you what somebody heard.
As far as the, what she said, it's not black or white. Disrespect is up for debate. Like I said, disrespect is up for debate. A lot of things is some people feel it's disrespectful.
Other people don't feel it's disrespectful. And it all depends on your principles. And your ego, yeah. So, like in France or somewhere, when you pull off your gloves and you smack a interface with the glove and say, I challenge you to a dude at disrespect.
Like, you know, but here you get smacked with some gloves. It's about how I challenge you to a dude. You're a buzzer left. You know what I mean?
What? Who? I'm a different. Who could say I was a swag?
I'm a different. Because what I meant was a blub. I was afraid. Because what I meant was a blub.
It's a blub. It's a blub. It's a blub. It's a blub.
It's a blub. It's a disrespect. We were recognized. But the dual challenge is a joke.
And that's what I'm saying. That's what's going to kill it. Like, it's going to be more, only reason I even hit you with the glove was to set it up for the I challenge you to a dude. How can you be mad at that?
You got to leave. 1.5 seconds to a dude. But why take that shit back? I'll tell you right now.
I'm going to make a mistake. You know, and the thing with the, I mean, what I mean is up for the bait is there are a lot of stuff that people just don't, it's not disrespect. You can call me all kind of stuff and I don't care. Some people take it personally.
Yeah. You know, it don't bother me. Versus somebody, it will really bother. And that's what that's what that's up for the bait.
Like, what is disrespect? How did you learn that that was disrespect? Okay. We get some things.
We get some things. We get some work. We have some good conversations. I get it.
So let me ask you guys something. Was there a time where you guys overreacted in a situation? He was like, damn. Well, I think that's just there.
Yeah. So was there a time where you just overreacted in a situation and you're like, damn, I'm a kid that person knows when I could have just gave him another chance or I could have been a little bit more patient with him. There have been times that I considered and that's self inventory, but nothing that made me regret it so much so that I went to that person to reconcile. So for my growth, there are things that I could have, I could have put more thought in or I could have created levels to distance in myself to learn more.
So I think, you know, looking back at some things, not many, but some things, there are some lessons that I could have learned then instead those lessons were learned later in life, all because I was impatient or all because my ego was produced a little too much and I gave into it. So yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. But again, like I said, nothing has made me regret it so much so that, you know, because I also believe that whatever growth you need to get to a certain point at time is going to take place.
No matter how quick or how slowly the growth happens, it's going to happen. So we all have appointments set up in our lives and some people say that, you know, in a way of the book is already written. Well, same thing, you know, it's just our journeys. Our separate diverse journeys that we all are on.
Make papers back. Welcome to this. Yes. Yeah.
Make papers. Well, if you said I'm back, you know, I miss up. So with the question was again. Okay.
So, so what I jazzed was I said, did they ever get to a point where you cut somebody off and you were like, damn, I should have been my patient with that person. Or I could have get a person the most time to grow and you kind of regret it. Oh, me personally, I don't never really I always had the long time to spawn that tell it. And it was, you know, doing a left self inventory now, like I always feel like, like, all right, so I want, you know, me facing my narcissism.
You know what I mean? And like, like if somebody was to try to distance themselves from me, I'm like, what you talk about? We friends. Like, and I still would I still would converse with them and stuff like that.
The thing is, I would never go to the point where I would hurt myself. You see what I'm saying? So it was like, I had a wall up to not hurt myself. But at the same time, I still had the narcissism going on.
So yeah, I never really cut people off like that. Like they always in limbo. And I have I have no problem. I have no problem.
But you know, going back and because I never really I never really feel like I cut them off with every view. Most of I pull out that long and spoon, you know, and one thing I noticed, but you know, how they say silence is violence. If you just never heard silence is violence. Yeah.
So what they mean by silence is violence, meaning if you don't see nothing, you might have to tribute to whatever, you know, happen. So like they use that a lot with police brutality and police not saying nothing about the partners doing all this kind of stuff. So it might as well be with it also, you know, stuff like that. But so as jazz caught on, what I was saying when I said the solvices violence, like you kill people with solvices.
Okay. Make papers. I can't do it again. I'm praying.
Yeah. But so like we got principles though, you know, we all got rules that we love by personal rules. What do we do with somebody or how do we go about telling somebody not to do it? It depends on the circumstance and it depends on the person.
You know, some people, you can tell them flat out and then some people and they'll get it. And then some people don't. They won't get it. So again, you know, it's like you can curtail if you want, if you choose to, you know, it all depends on how you want to salvage certain relationships and how you really understand because a lot of times understanding is key, you know, like somebody can offend you.
Instead of you saying, Hey, you know, I appreciate XYZ, you take it to another level. Instead of taking inventory and thinking, okay, well, maybe this person, maybe somebody who fitted that person and it's a lash out, not that doesn't excuse, but it gives you understanding, if you want me. So it's, you know, depending on the, it depends on the person involved. Like I don't have an answer.
There's no, there is no guide to it all the time. Like there are certain things in life that you can't stick a rule to it and say this is the rule that's going to work every time. It does nothing like that. There's nothing with certain things.
So tyrants are saying that we create rules to live by, you know, and I agree. There are some rules you can live by, but when you're dealing with other people, like you can create a rule for yourself. And that's what you, well, when you're dealing with other people, sometimes that same rule going to apply to each person out, you may get a different response. Well, this, and I'm not talking about a negative person versus a positive response, just a different response.
So it may not give you the results. So then if you live by a certain rule and then this rule doesn't work for this particular personality, then what you do, you say you're not affected for that person and then you change and do something different. So that's why I say there, there are not other people that you can apply to every situation in every personality. Like life is not a rule book.
This is all I'm trying to say, you know, I don't know because I feel like the Bible is that rule book. Oh, yeah, absolutely. But there are the Bible isn't all black and white either. And we talked about this last time, you know, you need discernment.
You need the spirit of God to receive the context he says and the things that he says in a word, you know, to understand it because without without the Holy Spirit, you just want to be receiving logic of the Bible. You're not going to receive the spirit, the spiritual context of everything because the Bible is full of metaphors. I mean, it is all metaphors for the whole part. You can't tell me.
Yeah. So you can't tell me that is not the tool you need to help you learn those metaphors. I agree. That's it.
Me too. So what's your, what's going on? We were talking about the LaRocchi thing yesterday. Hit that little story up again.
Because I think this I think I'm in right now. I was at the light. Okay. So I was saying I don't know if you know the Rocky, you know, the Rocky movies.
I have but I mean outside of like Rocky boxing or whatever he doing, I don't know. I would have to watch it. All right. Well, there's a, it's a, it's a, it's an important lesson that that's on the screen.
Go ahead. Go ahead. So that was a scene where I actually the whole movie was when they had like this big, Rocky had this big challenge. He was a Russian, right?
And this Russian had already killed a pile of creed in the ring. And Rocky's wife finds out that her husband is about to go to fight this Russian. So you know, Rocky gets home from a long day of sparring or whatever he was doing. Racking came on to his life.
His wife said, what's going on, Rocky? And Racking was like, I got to do this. And she was like, you can't win. And I was like, man, I'll be like, didn't you see the last three records?
Of course I'm about to wear the Whoopers' eyes. But, and I was like, at that point, I'd be like, damn, she don't believe in me. But the way brother make papers broke it down was now at the end of the end, at the end of everything she was there for me then, she did do what they helped me just supposed to do. She was just concerned that they were only due to the information she was given, you know.
And I guess that's what we just got to talk about. Sometimes the information that people are given that people are given, sometimes that's all they got to go, go for when they're dealing with you. I guess that's what you did. Yeah, no more time into like your, your understanding.
Like you had two different understandings of what would happen. Like, you know, your response to it. Like, you know, one is like, man, she'll believe in me. But at the same time, you know, put something, you put something on your brain and then you're like, oh, well, she do believe in me.
And that's just how people go through day to day. Like they just don't have the, you know, the information or the understanding to understand what's going on. How you feel about that? So did she not understand what was going on?
So what I feel like happened is, so I do feel like the, the help make, you know, the wife or whatever contributes to whatever. So if what was presented to her is like, you know, that's going to damage the, the whole foundation as far as the husband, you know, she is a duty to say something. So when he came back and was like, I have to do this, but she still was supportive anyway. But that was just presenting, presenting.
She just presented her concerns for the, you know, the whole value of, you know, the whole marriage. Yeah, her future period. I mean, their future. Right.
Right. Right. So it can go either way. So, you know, as a male, male, like Tyra said, the ego was bruised first.
Instead of taking inventory and thinking, okay, well, if something do happen to me, not that it can't, not that it won't, or it will, but if something does happen to me, then my family is over. Right. My woman might help me rather see me alive and try to fight for principle. Because in the day you can't take it, you can't take it with you now.
Let's be real. You can't take ego with you, but those are the things that can put you six feet on if you're not careful. So, I see it, I see it both ways. But most importantly, she was still there regardless.
And she's supposed to give hope and she's supposed to say how she feels, even if she's against it, she still support you and respects you as a man of the house, the head of the house. All right. So within taking a second, I want you guys to tell me something. Yeah, I'm listening.
Okay. You're okay? Okay. Okay.
Someone tell me something. What's your biggest father's working on right now that you can identify with me. You're working on right now. Hmm.
For me, I was thinking because it's a couple of things, but ultimately for me, it's about humbleness. And sometimes my ego, like on a daily basis, my ego get bruised. Some days more than others, but when I say daily basis, it's like it's little hiccups that I go through that I have to compartmentalize and say, okay, this ain't, you know, work my effort and my brain power, you know, so I'm learning to let things go more now. And to recognize that I have to humble myself and down myself, just not down me as a person, but lower my ego, if that makes sense.
Because I'm there are places that I'm trying to get to and I'm going to be able to get to it. So for me, it's humility. It's humility. You know, I asked for it.
Just like I asked for conviction. And it's a daily thing. It's a lifestyle. It's not something that you conquer and you hone like a craft.
It's something that you have to go through day to day as long as you're growing. So for me, it's humility, but I'm working on it. Okay. I hope you're not going to be in a better person overall than just in general.
Like the other day, you know, I'll face with a question of, you know, how about, you know, being a man and like I came in a conclusion. I had never really been no man in a relationship. You know what I mean? I was throwing a whole bunch of things that little boys was doing.
So how can I claim that man's texture? For me, it would be compartmentalizing my rage. It's rage. Yeah.
I'm so extreme. Say, Brian, let me know how you feel it. I know. Don't do it that way.
I know this. I know this. That's right. What I'm saying.
Brain aneurysms are so serious, heart attacks are so serious. And it happens to us in this age that we're in 30, 29, 33, 30, 30, 30, 30. Like this is when it starts. And I've even taken inventory for myself and I know it's a little off-script and I'm going to get this back to you, Tyra's.
But you know, there are pressures that I feel like pressure on my mind and stress that has frightened me to think, oh, well, I mean, I wake up because I'm going to sleep with this headache. Okay, then boom. Why you got the headache? And so taxing on your brain and it gave you a headache.
You know, it's things like that. And that's a part of taking self inventory for your current and future. You know, so yes, compartmentalize that rage, but I'm just compartmentalize deal with. Yeah, I was speaking in control.
I'm kind of taking control of these. You know, yeah, I don't know if there's a first time hearing that, but there's a certain thing. Like it's like, it's almost like, I think you need a certain amount of rage to complete certain taste because certain tests require it, but it's controlled. But sometimes it seeps out in its uncontrolled and I take that everywhere with me sometimes.
If that makes any sense at all. But just compartmentalize it like when I'm in a gym, I'm angry. I'm ready to like, I need to do this to get my, get the test completed. I need to build a certain type of way to get this test completed to go through all of this training that I do and get my muscles.
So is that more or less determination than rage and anger? Well, you know, I think it is angry at the gym. Yeah, I think it's I think it's rage. I definitely am.
I'm not approachable. I'm not. I don't want to like somebody try to talk to me. I'm like, listen, I get away from me.
You know what I'm saying? I know you know you and I might run to my papers at the gym and I'll be like, Oh, what's up, mate? And I might talk to him. But if I don't know you, I really want you to be away from me because I need to complete this test.
I need to be focused and I need you out of my face. You could be telling me, Hey, man, you know, you're going to hurt yourself. If you do this, you could be trying to give me some good advice, but I'm not trying to hit that shit because I'm so focused on the mission and I don't want anybody else. So is this stuff that you're working on to not be like?
I'm working on compartmentalizing it because you need because I think you need a certain amount of control raised to complete certain times, a difficult test. That's difficult. But when it becomes uncontrolled, that's when you start calling me to hook, you know, the whole control reach, you know, is like, I can't control this. Like, you know, but it's the side is in terms.
Like people disappeared on us again. You got to explain himself now. He did. No, I know.
And he was doing it last time. I keep saying he didn't get in that bus call in Opie and check on my boy. But I would check on about what we got to do. Yeah, they won't be here for next two days.
But on my Baltimore listeners that I do have, I want you guys to understand April, don't make any plans April the 3rd and the 4th come out and see my movie at the next November, New Orleans politics come out, see late at the next X, April, April 4th. We're still getting the contracts drawn up, but from what I understand, that's the date. And I'm gonna give you guys the times on my Instagram for those of you in Baltimore New Orleans. We got some good news too at the end of March.
It's just Corona virus is the same thing. I guess by the time this all taken care of. You got anything working on? Not the moment.
No projects. I mean, the R&R state right now that's about it. That's my mind. That's a good state to be in.
Yeah. That's a good state to be in. So leave us with a positive note. I'm not picking on you.
Just like that. Right here. So be nice. That's what a positive note.
It's about self inventory. You know, that's one of the wisest things I think we can do as people that's trying to better ourselves. Um, in life, you know, as human is, as people that respect all peoples, it takes self inventory. You know, it's just a real wise thing to do.
And it takes them to a person to acknowledge it and to exercise it. It really does. Like if you meditate, that's a form of self. Um, self.
I don't know for that the word. All right. I want, because I want to say, I want to say self protection, you know, because we've talked about those things too. Um, but definitely self, self inventory.
You know, it takes them to a person to do those things and you can self inventory, then you got the upper hand on life and you're moving the right direction. And my opinion. And that's all I have for self inventory. Okay.
Well, for me, um, well, like to say is, uh, you know, we got the song. This virus is big enough stuff and we got these viruses running rampant. Just takes, I think that a lot of people should take self inventory and just thinking, um, what they can do to avoid this virus spreading or being contagious or getting this virus because it's looking very serious out here. But I can't, I'm gonna speak on this once again.
I'm gonna speak on this once again. I have a privilege of working in this hospital. Uh, most of those cases that they talk about that are confirmed are really presumed. These people have pneumonia and they're treating me like is, um, Corona virus.
So I know everybody's in a big. Yeah, I know. I know everybody's in a big panic and I know the media is putting a lot of stuff out there, but, you know, just, just chill, you know, like you said, you said you that discernment and I was real and what's not, you know, because we only nobody, we only nobody getting black now because they called around, you know, so, so, you know, just, just understand what you can do to prevent getting that virus off. Just take some precaution and some precautionary measures and just continue to, you know, row and life and.
Hey, man. First of all, that you contribute to the show. I really appreciate it. Thank you for having me once again.
Brother Tyrus. That's the truth, speaker. Hello, you're breaking up. Hello.
We just spoke truth to power. I want you guys to have a good night.
