Self, Soul, and Direction —Alex Negrete, 2 4 Self Projected Projector, RAX of the Sphinx

In Episode 87 of Real Human Design Stories, I’m sitting down with Alex Negrete, a 2/4 Self-Projected Projectorwith the RAX of the Sphinx, to talk about direction, identity, and what happens when the life that looks like “success” stops fitting.Alex shares how a major health wake-up call at 21 became the beginning of a completely different path, and how Human Design later gave him permission to stop forcing a life that wasn’t his. We explore what it means to be Self-Projected (where clarity and direction are revealed through the voice), how the Cross of the Sphinx shows up as real-life course-corrections toward soul-aligned direction, and why faith is often the bridge when you don’t have the whole map yet.We also go into Alex’s work with hypnotherapy and past-life exploration, including why receiving can feel hard when you don’t feel safe, how openness in the chart can turn into carrying what isn’t yours, and what changes when you build energetic hygiene and trust your system.Timestamps00:00 – When “success” stops fitting03:08 – Early visibility and the wake-up call that changed everything05:32 – How Human Design came back around (timing + deconditioning)08:44 – Self-Projected direction: truth through the voice12:17 – Hypnotherapy + past lives: subconscious healing and soul-level clarity15:58 – Human Design mechanics: magnetic monopole, “driver,” and the soul question20:52 – Hypnosis myths, safety, and trust25:50 – Why it can feel like “it doesn’t work for me”29:27 – Openness, sensitivity, and energetic boundaries34:24 – Energetic hygiene: not carrying what isn’t yours44:45 – Gate 55: faith as the antidote to fear52:24 – What’s next for Alex: teaching, groups, and expanded offerings54:14 – Wrap-upTo work with or connect with Alex: https://alexnegrete.comTo work with or connect with Kathy: https://kathybochonko.com
