Self-Trust: Knowing How To Show Up & Be There For Yourself

from Raw Conversations with Corinne Blum · host Corinne Blum

Self-trust is not something that happens over night, most especially in a society that doesn’t encourage us to listen to our true selves. It is something that is cultivated over time. First we have to get to know our true Self, which lies beneath all the false layers of who we think we should be for others. Next, we have to show up with presence and kindness with enough consistency that we begin to recognise that we can rely on ourselves. We see that we’re no longer ignoring or neglecting, judging or criticising but we’re showing up with compassion and love, instead. Over time, we begin to trust. In this episode, I go into the ways in which we don’t trust ourselves, the ways in which we can learn how to, and what trusting ourselves looks like in physical form.
