Selfish vrs. Self-Love

from The Finding Peace Podcast · host Troy L Love/ Finding Peace Consulting, llc

In this episode, we begin exploring the difference between being Selfish and Practicing Self-Love.  Selfishness stems from not knowing who we really are and thus we spend a tremendous amount of energy on ourselves as a form of self-protection. But, when we really know who we are, practicing self-love is our way of recharging our batteries so that we can continue to use our gifts and talents to bless the lives of others.  When we know who we are, it is so much easier for us to step out of our Shadows of Shame and stand in our light. You are also invited to reflect on those who have loved you.  I'd love to hear your stories of how you loved someone else or how someone showed up for you!   You can listen to this and other episodes of the Finding Peace Podcast by going to any of the following links.  https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/id1472700242 https://open.spotify.com/show/0p6DK6fPPjHH0z911oCuUg https://www.troyllove.com/thefindingpeacepodcast
