Selfless Serving

from Step Into Growth · host Troy Farley

READY ✅ “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” ~Matthew 20:28~ SET 🚦 “Humility isn’t thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.” ~C.S Lewis~ Jesus’s ministry on earth had nothing to do with Him. Jesus didn’t care when people were impressed by the miracles He performed. He didn’t give sight to the blind for applause. He did it because His life was about loving people and pointing them straight to God. Jesus’s entire life was about everyone else but Him. Humility is a reflection of God. Jesus knew He was the Son of God, the Prince of Peace and the King of Kings, yet He lived, loved and led others selflessly and always put the needs of others in front of Himself. Let us check our hearts as we prepare to live out our day and adjust it to reflect humility to those God places us around today. GO ⏱ 🤔 How can you choose selflessness each day and reflect Jesus’s heart of humility? 🤔 What does it look like to think of God and others before yourself on a daily basis? GROW 💪 "Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had" ~Philippians 2:3-5~ “Jesus, thank you for being the ultimate example of what it means to serve those you have put around us. Forgive me when I serve with myself in mind. Change my selfish spirit. I want to humbly serve those around me today and all the rest of my days. Amen.” #StepIntoGrowthTV #FCA
