Semi-Private Programming - Make More Money With Semi-Private Training

from Gym Business Coach Podcast · host Tim Lyons and Randy Angsten

Are you having trouble transitioning to semi-private training? We get this question a lot in our business talk with fitness professionals Facebook group. In this episode, we share some of the things we do here at Pulse Fitness. To begin with, you have to make it clear with the marketing and initial consultation that it is semi-private training, not small group training. The workouts need to be done diligently for semi-private training. Each client gets their own customized workouts based on their goals. Having a system in place that helps with this will help any the coach with the workouts and the needs of every client and train them accordingly. With this, every client can train with any coach and they will get a standardized experience. One more thing that you’ll need to do is to decide the number of clients per coach. Tim recommends you start with three per coach and progress from there. Here at Pulse, we are doing six clients to one coach but we have progressed from four since we started this model 10 years ago.Listen in to this episode and learn how semi-private training model works and how we can help you transition the right way and faster. Key TakeawaysMaking it clear with your marketing that you do semi-private training not small group training (04:18)Customizing workouts for each client diligently based on the goals (07:30)Giving clients a standardized experience no matter the coach (11:37)It is important to have programming coming from the facility rather from the individual coaches (12:47)How to determine the ratio of clients to coach in a semi-private training model (13:05)Making sure your coaches are delivering value to your clients in this model (18:11)Why clients love and only say positive things about semi-private training (21:29)Additional Resources:www.pfmarketingsolutions.com/summitwww.PFMarketingSolutions.com/Callwww.PFMarketingSolutions.com/Automationwww.CLACourse.comwww.ProFitGPS.netMarketing Talk with Fitness Professionals Facebook Grouphttps://PFMarketingSolutions.com/Datawww.ProfitGPS.com--If you are interested in a free audit for your gym, visit http://bit.ly/free_gym_audit--You can find out more about Tim and the strategies covered in this episode by checking out our website.--Would you rather watch the video version instead?Head over to our YouTube channel to watch this episode by going here--If you don’t already have my book, get your copy FREE here.--Connect with Tim:Schedule A CallFacebookInstagramLinkedInConnect with Randy:FacebookInstagram--Subscribe to the podcast on Apple, Spotify, Google, Stitcher, YouTube or anywhere else you listen to your podcasts. If you haven't already, please rate and review the podcast on Apple Podcasts!
