Pese a los avances legislativos en materia de equidad de género, el sector aeronáutico aún cuenta con una amplia brecha, ya que, a nivel mundial, solo el 4.94 por ciento de las mujeres se dedican a estas actividades. Para visibilizar a las mujeres de este sector, la senadora Eugenia Galaz Caletti planteó conmemorar cada 10 de marzo como “Día de la Mujer Mexicana en el Sector Aeronáutico y Aeroespacial”.
