Senate confirms Todd Blanche as Attorney General

The Senate officially confirmed Todd Blanche as Attorney General in a 50-to-49 vote. President Trump's former defense attorney has been serving as acting AG. He'll be sworn in later this morning and will immediately face several challenges, including a hearing set for Thursday in federal court for Blanche and the Justice Department to answer concerns from the court about Blanche’s handling of the Epstein Files.
