Send a holiday card to care homes, to stir a memory of happy times

Embracing Age, the Christian befriending charity, is once again appealing for people to send cards to residents in care homes who may not have relatives or visitors or be able to participate in group activities. Zoe Jones, who works across East Hampshire for the befriending charity, talks to Mike Waddington about the project and how simple messages on cards help. Zoe also speaks about what befriending involves and working with hundreds of care homes in East Hampshire.  It goes on to the end of September so would also be something returning schools might want to be involved in, about their own holiday memories.
