Send us Fan MailPacking Away Authority, Judgment, and Attachment: A Journey Towards Self-DiscoveryThe Art of Letting GoAs the host of this podcast, I've had the privilege of sharing my experiences and insights with you all. Today, I want to take you on a unique journey - a journey of packing a suitcase. But this is no ordinary suitcase. It's a metaphorical one, filled with elements of authority, judgment, and attachment that I've decided to let go of, in order to create a new world for myself.Packing Authority with GratitudeIn the past, I've played games with authority. I've held authority over others and allowed others to have authority over me. But as I've grown and evolved, I've realized that these games no longer serve the world I desire to live in. So, I've decided to pack away this authority.Every piece of authority that I've held or allowed others to hold over me is being carefully placed into this beautiful suitcase. But I'm not just discarding them. I'm packing them away with gratitude. Gratitude for the experiences they've given me, the lessons they've taught me, and the person they've helped me become.Replacing Judgment with UnderstandingNext, I'm packing away judgment. I've judged others and have been judged in return. But I've come to understand that everyone is having their own unique experience. I want to respect that. I want others to let me have my own experience, free from judgment. So, I'm packing away this judgment, replacing it with understanding and empathy. And just like the authority, I'm packing it away with gratitude. Gratitude for the lessons learned and the growth experienced. The Challenge of Letting Go of AttachmentThe most challenging aspect of this process is letting go of attachment. I admit, I'm still attached to how others perceive me and what they think of my actions. I want others to see me in a certain way. But I've realized that it's tricky to let go of this attachment without turning against or blaming others.I'm taking my time to pack this attachment away. It's not easy, but it's necessary. I'm learning to let go of the need for others' approval and to live authentically, for myself.Sending Off the Suitcase into the UniverseOnce everything is packed beautifully and I've expressed my gratitude for these experiences, I plan to send this suitcase off into the universe. I'm letting go, releasing these elements that no longer serve me. And who knows? Maybe someone else will pick up this suitcase and have their own journey of self-discovery.This process of packing a suitcase with authority, judgment, and attachment has been a transformative experience for me. It's allowed me to reflect, grow, and move towards the world I desire. I hope that by sharing my journey, I can inspire you to embark on your own journey of self-discovery.Remember, it's not about discarding parts of ourselves. It's about acknowledging them, learning from them, and then letting them go with gratitude. It's about creating space for new experiences, growth, and transformation. And most importantly, it's about living authentically and freely, without the weight of authority, judgment, and attachment.Support the show
