Senn School Streets Get Safer Upgrade | Chicago News
from Chicago News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Edgewater’s streets around Senn High School are getting a major safety upgrade this summer, with four key intersections—Greenview & Thorndale, Glenwood & Thorndale, Glenwood & Rosedale, and Glenwood & Ardmore—being redesigned. Two of those, Glenwood & Thorndale and Glenwood & Ardmore, are being transformed into raised intersections with curb bumpouts to slow traffic, improve visibility for pedestrians, and reduce accidents. Construction is on track to finish by August 24th, just before school resumes—with concrete expected this week and paving next. The result? A safer, more pedestrian-friendly zone right where students walk every day. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
