Sensory Onesie Design Podcast Episode

from Teaching Autism and Special Education by Nikki · host Teaching Autism

I am so excited to invite Kate Dawson onto the podcast today. Kate is going to talk to us about designing a sensory onesie and her company ‘The All in One Company.’ Kate started the company when she struggled to find something to keep her daughter warm at night. She shares more about this in the episode. I recently got to work with Rachel at The All in One Company. And this is where Carys designed her very own sensory onesie using their amazing 3D portal. The 3D design tool was amazing! Carys was able to physically see what her design would look like in a more life-like appearance. I shared the whole process on my social media channels and Youtube (which you can watch here). You can watch Carys design every piece of the onesie. At the end you can see how it looked when it arrived, and on her. Carys was over the moon with her sensory onesie. Being able to design it totally from scratch, and altering things to make it perfect for her was an amazing experience. Today on the show we’re talking about; The All-in-One Company Collaborating and Supporting The National Autistic Society The Research Into the Sensory Onesies Why Sensory Friendly Clothing is Important Designing Your Own Sensory Friendly Onesie Have you designed a sensory onesie yet? If not, check out their website here. They have a huge range of other products available too. You can also find The All in One Company on Facebook and Instagram.
