Sent To Tell the Story

Every Christian is called to bear witness to who Jesus is and what he has accomplished by his death, burial and resurrection from the dead for those who believe in Him and confess him. 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, Romans 10:4-13. We are to witness to him by using his Word recorded in promise in the Law, the prophets and the psalms and how Jesus fulfilled them as the Messiah as recorded in the New Testament. Examples are given in Acts 5, 7 and 8 of Peter, Stephen and Philip doing as Christ commanded in Luke 24:44-49.
