Today’s verse is a big reminder that real strength doesn’t come from being loud or arrogant—but from staying humble: 👉 Proverbs 11:2 (CSB) “When arrogance comes, disgrace follows, but with humility comes wisdom.” 💡 What does that mean? Arrogance talks big, tries to impress others, refuses correction, and always wants the spotlight. Solomon says it leads to disgrace—which means regret, embarrassment, and things falling apart. But humility—admitting you don’t know it all and being open to correction—is where true wisdom begins. ✅ In this episode, kids will learn: The difference between confidence and arrogance Why humility doesn’t make you weak—it makes you wise How Jesus modeled perfect humility (even though He had nothing to prove!) Real-life examples, like how humble teammates build trust and strong friendships 🏀 Think of it like this: One basketball player never passes, brags constantly, and blames others when things go wrong. Another player encourages others, listens to the coach, and admits mistakes. 💥 Who do you want on your team? That’s the power of humility. It earns respect. It helps you grow. And it makes you someone others love to be around. 📘 Application for Today: Don’t act like you know everything. Stay open to learning. Take correction without excuses. Let it help you grow. Remember: Humility doesn’t make you less.
