A live recording of Radere’s appearance at the 2019 Chillits Festival, an annual experimental music event that takes place in Laytonville, California. Prepared on the road as the artist traveled along the Pacific coast with his partner in the days leading up to the festival, this performance marked a major departure from Radere’s recent synth-focused works. Instead, he returned to his original instrument – the guitar – to create sweeping drones, accompanied by tape loops, dynamic no-input mixer feedback and various electronics.
