This Sunday, we will look at the life of Saul in 1 Samuel 15. Saul appears to be serving God by praying, listening to prophetic words, going to church, and doing some of God's will, but below the surface, he is motivated by his desire for others' approval. Oftentimes, we live one way above the surface and in appearances when there is actually a whole other reality underneath. Join us this Sunday as we unpack the problem of emotionally unhealthy spirituality and the truth that it's impossible for us to be in touch with God if we're not in touch with ourselves.
