September 19 – Exodus 16:31-36

from When God Whispers · host Lori Morgan

God is a good, good God. Imagine how much manna He provided. This provision lasted for the full forty years. Daily he rained down manna and on the sixth day He rained down a double portion. God’s provision to His chosen people is mind boggling. God knew that this history of His amazing provision needed to be passed on to future generations. This was accomplished by placing a jar of the manna before the Lord. Eventually, this jar would find its way into the Ark of the Covenant. How well He knew His chosen people. We. Too, tend to forget all that God has done for us. Our children need to be reminded of the goodness of God as we raise them. Take time today to tell someone of the provisions of God in your life. Share with them how well God has taken care of your family and loved ones. How sweet that God gave us the Bible to help us remember His faithfulness to those He loves.
