SEPTEMBER 29 - Check Your Compass3-Year-Bible Reading: Proverbs 24:23–25; Numbers 33–343-Year Bible Devotional Book Available on Amazon________________________________________“These also are sayings of the wise. Partiality in judging is not good. Whoever says to the wicked, ‘You are in the right,’ will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations, but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them.” — Proverbs 24:23–25“And the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, ‘Command the people of Israel, and say to them, When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you…’” — Numbers 33:50–52“This shall be your land as defined by its borders all around.” — Numbers 34:12________________________________________It’s easy to lose your way when you don’t know where you’re going—or when the path seems unclear. Whether it’s making choices about friends, school, or what’s right and wrong, we all need something solid to guide us. In Proverbs 24:23–25, we’re reminded that being fair and standing up for what’s right matters deeply to God. And in Numbers 33–34, God gives Israel clear instructions for where they’re supposed to go and what boundaries they should live within. God wasn’t trying to limit them—He was setting them up for freedom and blessing inside the borders of His will. Just like them, we need a spiritual compass to keep us on the right path.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. No Favorites: Are you fair with people, or do you treat some better just because it benefits you? God calls us to be just—even when it’s unpopular.2. Clear Directions: God gave Israel specific boundaries for a reason. Are you listening to God’s voice about the boundaries in your life—like the friendships you keep or the habits you’re forming?3. Stand for Right: Rebuking wrong isn’t about being rude—it’s about courage. Are you willing to speak truth and live it, even when others don’t?________________________________________BOTTOM LINEGod sets boundaries not to restrict us but to protect us. When we stay within His will and walk in justice, we find blessing, purpose, and clarity.________________________________________PRAYERHeavenly Father, thank You for being a God of order and justice. Help me to live with integrity and treat others fairly, even when it’s hard. Show me the boundaries You’ve set for my life and give me the courage to stay inside them. Guide my steps, and let my choices reflect Your truth and love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
