Sometimes boundaries make us curious—but they also protect what matters. Proverbs 22:28 talks about not moving the “ancient landmark,” which back then meant the physical property lines set by older generations. But it’s also a reminder to respect the moral and spiritual boundaries God’s given us. Leviticus 5–6 shows how serious God is about honesty, responsibility, and making things right when we mess up. Together, these passages teach us that God's boundaries aren’t there to limit us—they’re there to help us live with purpose, integrity, and honor.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. Respect the Boundaries: What “landmarks” or boundaries has God placed in your life—like truth, purity, or respect? Are you honoring them or trying to push past them?2. Skill Brings Honor: Proverbs 22:29 says those who are skillful in what they do will stand before kings. Are you giving your best to what God’s called you to—school, friendships, talents?3. Make It Right: In Leviticus 6, when someone wrongs another person, they have to not only admit it but also make it right—plus extra. Is there someone you need to apologize to or repay?________________________________________BOTTOM LINEGod’s boundaries are meant to protect us and guide us toward lives of excellence and integrity. Don’t ignore them—learn to respect them, live skillfully, and make things right when you fall short.________________________________________PRAYERHeavenly Father, thank You for the boundaries You’ve placed in my life and the wisdom that comes from Your Word. Help me to live with integrity, to give my best in everything I do, and to make things right when I mess up. Teach me to respect what You’ve set in place and to trust that Your way is the best way.
