September 4th: Chase Wisdom, Not Just Popularity | Kids Devotional Carpooling with Jesus

We’re continuing our September series: Proverbs for Your School Life — Daily wisdom from God’s Word to help you make real choices in your everyday life. 📖 Today’s verse comes from Proverbs 4:7 (CSB): 👉 “Wisdom is supreme—so get wisdom. And whatever else you get, get understanding.” 💡 What does that mean? Solomon—the wisest man to ever live—was talking to his kids, passing down what really matters. He wasn’t yelling or lecturing. He was saying: 👉 “If you’re going to chase anything in life… chase wisdom.” And here’s the good news: Even if you're still young, this is the perfect time to start! You don’t need to know everything—wisdom grows as you learn, ask questions, and stay teachable. ✅ In this episode, kids will learn: Why wisdom is more valuable than popularity, perfection, or awards What understanding really means (it’s more than just getting good grades!) How Jesus grew in wisdom as a kid—and how they can too 🎮 Think of life like a video game—you don’t know all the maps at first, but each round helps you learn more. That’s how wisdom works.
