Proverbs 20, Proverbs Series What does a person of wisdom look like? What characterizes them? People who walk in wisdom know both what to avoid and what to embrace. For example, wise people avoid addictions, alienating those in authority, creating strife and listening to gossip. So, what are the things we ought to embrace? Wisdom is diligence, concern about others, faithful, leading blameless and honest lives. What they communicate is invaluable; they address issues of evil first in themselves and then in others. They also realize their own limitations and know when to seek the advice of others in making major decisions. These all express the nature or characteristics of biblical wisdom.
