G’day Listeners, welcome to the new edition. Opening on this one is Andy Pickford’s No 2, in the series of the Vanguard releases, Steve Jolliffe with his new album ‘Cyclone Spheres’, a return to those magic days nearly 40 years ago when he joined Tangerine Dream for the ‘Cyclone’ album. AD Music’s special release for E-scape 2016, featuring contributions from the artists appearing there in June and a new one by Ketil Lien, ‘Exosphere’, formerly known as Wim. Another find from my neck of the wood, is Jim Ottaway, releasing 25 independent recordings since 2004, covering many genres, including space ambient, electronic dance, new age relaxation and music for film and television. ZANOV one of the earliest French musicians to start innovating in the world of electronic music from 1976, introduces us to his latest works, ‘Open Worlds’. The prolific UK composer Ivan Black, with two more ambient style download releases and many more outstanding musicians with their new music. Our blast from the past, is taken from early eighties, ‘Inselmusik’ by Rolf Trosel, using the brand of new PPG wave computer 360 at that time.
