Lets introduce you to our new faces on Sequences, Mythical Records introducing two female artists, Natasha who approaches a brand of experimental classical music and Melisande’s dark ambient neoclassical sounds, Hungarian Polytron, a future retro musician with his first full length album, B J M Mario Bajardi with expressive melodies and textures of orchestral richness, universe gazer Phillippe Kessler, and lastly German pianist and multi-instrumentalist Bernward Koch, lighting up the scene in New Age music over the last few decades. New releases include Steve Roach, who adds to his vast catalog ‘Shadow of Time’ in a style reminiscence of Structures From Silence and Quiet Music, Arcane who musically mimics the self propelled nature of the ‘Automaton’ and DeeperNET exploring downtempo of electronic music, just a few to be played on this issue. From 1979 we give you ‘In The Regions Of Sun Return’, Michael Garrison’s debut album which became a big seller in the scene, sadly we lost Michael in 2004, The album ‘To The Sky And Beyond Stars’ was published as a fitting tribute from fellow musicians after his early death.
