Sequoia
from Radio One Chicago Hosted by Radio One Chicago
It’s not often that your number-one fan gets to join your band, but such is the case with Sequoia, a math-centric, riff-heavy quartet hailing from Chicago. With two full-lengths under their belt prior to 2011, crafting a thunderous, propulsive buzz within the same ballpark as bands like Shiner or No Knife, longtime Sequoia follower and guitarist Cully Johnson joined vocalist/guitarist Wade Work, bassist Tim Jepsen and drummer Dan Wagner, and the band became their strongest incarnation yet.
