The idea of the beautiful voice, the good voice, has been instilled in me from a very young age, with choral singing. As far as I can remember, voices were either ugly or beautiful. But how do those two things operate in relation to what I'm really interested in: expressivity, making good work, liveness? This is the story of how the embodied practice has changed the way I think about voice now.
