Serena wins Super Bowl LIX!

In "Serving Aces" Alexandra Stevenson and Hugues Laverdière discuss the Super Bowl, Serena Williams' Crip dance, and Dennis Shapovalov win in Dallas against Casper Rudd.  Alexandra and Ougi give the podcast quote to Coach Prime on "foolery."  Alexandra discusses the history of the Crip dance walk and Serena's long history with growing up knowing how to do the "Crip."  The dance was five seconds and shorter than Super Bowl commercials, but Alexandra says Serena won the Super Bowl.  Serena used a moment in time to showcase cultural black history and in the meantime, crossed over into American pop culture.  Alexandra talks about Stephen A's comments and Howard Stern's comments about the Crip dance and Serena's long ago dalliance with Drake. Oh yeah - and by the way, it ws Kendrick Lamar's halftime show - perhaps one of the greatest hip hop artist of his generation.  Lamar and Williams grew up in Compton, where the dance was formed in the 1970s.
