Sergio Mendes - Promise Of A Fisherman (NewLife Remix)

from World Over · host DJ NewLife

I've loved this tune for a while. According to the notes on the back of the album cover the song is about the appeal of an old fisherman to Iemanjá, the goddess of the sea, for the safety of his son. Sergio Mendes & Brasil '77 - Promessa De Pescador / Primal Roots (1972)
