As for Sergio, he was born and grew up in San Diego, and spend his life going back and forth across the US / Mexico border. His father was born in the US, and his mother was born in Mexico, so he experienced many of the challenges immigrants face when moving to and settling in a new country. After a long career in the financial services industry, he married his professional experience with his personal family immigration experience to launch Alvva.
