Series 2 Episode 6: Computation Meets Knowledge - Conrad Wolfram
from Game Changers Hosted by Dr Phil Cummins
The Game Changers podcast celebrates those true pioneers in education who are building schools for tomorrow. In the sixth episode of the second series of the Game Changers podcast, your hosts Associate Professor of Education and Enterprise Philip Cummins and prominent educational Thought Leader Adriano Di Prato are joined by Conrad Wolfram, a thought leader, innovator and entrepreneur who is passionately committed to changing the way we think about mathematics in education. As CEO of Wolfram Research, Conrad is interested in how technology and computation can move our lives and economies forward and in turn how this affects education given his belief that the school subject of maths has become almost totally discrepant from its real-world application. You can contact Conrad at [email protected] and you can learn more about him here: https://www.wolfram.com The Game Changers podcast is produced by Oliver Cummins for Orbital Productions and supported by CIRCLE – The Centre for Innovation, Research, Creativity and Leadership in Education: www.circle.education.
